Compare the Rare

Rarity Prime (left) from the first pattern I made, and Rarity II (right) from the new pattern. The lowdown:

Rarity Prime = Cute little pointy nose, which I really like. Pipe cleaners in mane and tail that were a royal pain, but gave a rather nice curl in exchange for getting poked occasionally through the fabric. Thinner legs and not as much stuffing make getting her to stand a little difficult, but give her a cute crouched position when she does. Neck was tapered and a bit too small to support the head.

Rarity II = Bigger head, broader nose. Mane and tail contain no pipe cleaners, curls sewn in. Curls look a little off (tail in particular looks like I tied a knot in it from certain angles) but make her much more cuddly. Thicker legs and more stuffing make her stand very well. Neck is wider and supports her head better. Mouth and nostrils were embroidered.

The new and improved Rarity will most likely go to eBay, seeing as how keeping two of them would be a bit ridiculous. They would fight all the time.
